Hi All,
How does the new postage arrangements works? Most things that I send used to cost around £3.69, however, that option is no longer available.
Thanks in advance

Sounds like you may have defaulted to their new "simple delivery" model.
Edit. I used to be able to disable this, but it now sounds like there is no option to disable this for private sellers, however you can de-select certain postage companies. I hadn't noticed this as most of my items are Buy it Now and were listed many months (or years) ago so are still under the (better) old system.
• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.

If your item qualifies for Simple Delivery then it overrides your own postage. You used to be able to disable it but now I find there are only a few items which don't revert to Simple Delivery.
To be honest, I really like it now I have got used to it. It is simple, has better benefits for me as a seller and has not affected my sales. You may have to wait a few days for your money to go in your account but that is outweighed by not having to pay out for scam buyers who say they have not received the item.2 -

Basically SD offers the buyer Evri or RM, if you have your postage set to buyers pay then eBay send you a pre paid postage and you can choose whether to download a label or take the parcel with the QR code to the local shop, locker or post office.Once scanned by courier eBay become responsible for any loss.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
