    You haven’t answered the question about how long ago you bought. It’s primarily your surveyor who should be spotting defects in the property, so are these cracks which weren’t there when you bought?

    I also asked earlier how long ago OP purchased the house and what the surveyor said at hte time.

    Are you semi-detached/terraced? Have the neighbours done any work recently that could affect your property.

    This 'extension' is a conservatory?
    And the dwarf wall is cracking around the patio doors? 
    That's one issue.
    Potentially more serious is that the house wall, above where this conservatory opens to the house, is also cracking? 
    What did your engineer say about that?
