Claim Form issued by DCB Legal ltd after being fined by Total Parking Solutions. I'm not driver.

I sold my car to my sister, but hadn't transferred the V5 over to her, so I was still legally the registered keeper.
Over a year later, on 10/01/25, she parked in a disabled space at Wakefield hospital (her place of work) without a badge. I received a 'notice to keeper' from Total Parking Solutions on 12/02/25 (issue date of first notice) but chose to ignore it.
I then received a 'final demand' from TPS on 13/03/25. I decided to email TPS on 31/03/25 explaining that it wasn't me who parked the car and that I had sold the car over a year ago. I then gave details of the new owner in the email (name and address).
I received a reply from a lady at TPS on 01/04/25 telling me to appeal the charge using their online appeal portal, giving me the link.
I replied to the lady the same day with screenshots explaining my reference number wasn't bringing up any details about my fine.
She replied on 03/04/25 explaining that the case was referred to DCBL for collection. giving me a link to make payment or if I require assistance with the matter.
I left it at that.
On 28/07/25 I received a Claim Form in the post from HM Courts & Tribunals Services (Claimant: TPS & address for sending documents and payments: DCB LEGAL LTD, Total amount: £229.95, Issue Date: 23 July 2025.
Do I stand a good chance with disputing this? Or should I just cut my losses and pay the fine because A - I was the legal owner of the car at the time and B - because I left it more than 28 days to appeal (sending Email to TPS).
Any help much appreciated!

You won't need to win it, because as long as you defend it they will discontinue.
Refer to the newbies thread for advise of how to respond.2 -
@Coupon-mad Didn't you guys say to me in my thread that DCBL won't take it to court?0

UPDATE - Acknowledgment of service submitted and received on 31/07/25.Just writing up my defence draft. Paragraph 1-3 is fine but just realised, paragraph 4-30 won't all fit in the box on MCOL. What is the best thing to do here? Thanks.1

Wrong, use the new july 2025 defence template, for numerous good reasons2
