Thanks for setting up the thread @ elsiepac. It would be lovely to hear from you, we miss you.
£650 for me DH and 3 lovely growing Grandchildren this month please. It's a huge amount but I think even that will be hard to stick too. We are starting from a run down freezer and nearly empty store cupboards

£100 BUDGET FOR AUGUST FOR ME PLEASE.THANKYOU ELSIEPAC.4

Couple of small spends to add to my spends.
£3.99 Too Good To Go bag
£5.18 Bread flour x 2 and 10 packs of noodles
The 2G2G bag was disappointing from Morrisons. For one night they'd increased the price from £3.09 to £4.99. Then this morning they'd reduced them to £3.99 so I thought I'd have a punt but much less food and some had to be thrown because of fruit flies in the packaging. Not what I've come to expect from them. They're usually good at my Morrisons but occasionally they're poor but not this bad. DH says no more from them and I agree.
The value of contents has been reduced from £15 down to £10, too.
My local Farm Foods store seems to have good fruit and veg in when I've bought from them so I might have to travel to them instead now for my cheap fresh stuff.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Did the Asda order for tomorrow (I pay for delivery pass). DD is away from tomorrow until next Thursday night so managed to stay in my expected value with a spend of £59.52 to see me through until next week (after Asda 4% discount voucher).
Lunches and dinners meal planned for the week. Batch cooking and a new veggie recipe should help keep me on track.
Current total: £161.27/£400August Grocery Challenge £161.27/£400.004 -
Been making flapjack and cookies today for the kids to eat over the next few days. I had everything in to make them so it's good to have used up a few store cupboard items.
Received a Morries home delivery tonight. Spent £49.83 I have a mid week pass with them so had to get it delivered tonight. Counting in Augusts budget as nothing will be used until tomorrow.
I've got an 0cado delivery tomorrow night to stock up on some snacks and other bits and bobs as I've got some vouchers to use.Grocery Challenge 2024

£150 for me please @elsiepac
This will start from the 12th, so I'm only halfway through July still yet.

£126.26 to add
£90.89 in Costco mostly on bulk buys
£30 exactly on pet supplies
£5.37 in m&s - 1/2 of that was on a packet of cookies for dd
total so far £168.97 (pets £72.71)
Been going over receipts from the last couple of months and despite feeling like my budget is really high compared to others breaking it down I’m coming in at around £150 on pets & £100 on household/toiletries which means my food budget is around £550 for 5 adult portion eaters which is only £110 pppm and includes needing gf/df
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk4
