    @t14cy_t , sorry this made me cry for you and laugh 🤭 at the same time.
    Reminds me of when my DH used to be a delivery driver for a supermarket and certain members of the European community (don’t want to be racist) used to only drink bottled water. They always seemed to live in high rise blocks and had dozens of bottles at a time as they didn’t like our water, used to come home complaining of carrying these heavy bottles up flights of stairs 🤭

    Many thanks @JingsMyBucket for your kind thoughts.
    Feeling a bit better today thanks.
    Think it’s easier to catch the nasties as you get older.
    Muesli and Tuna roll was the order of the day

    It's most definitely easier to catch nasties as we age. Take care of yourself!

    Well shopping today ended up being a much bigger spend than anticipated but we should be good for a lot of the week. It’s bigger than anticipated partially due to Mr. Jings being with me and he needed a few items we hadn’t discussed but that’s totally fine. The shopping is for both of us, of course. 🙂

    £3.50 at Iceland for YS celery (50p) and a big box of Kellogg’s bran flakes.

    £37.71 at M & S for 4 pints of milk (£2.40), a big block of cheddar (£4.00), small cup of yoghurt to use as a starter (75p), skyr (£2.50), 4 cans of baked beans (£1.80), 2 bags of coffee (£9.50), block of butter (£2.00), shortcrust pastry (£1.75), double cream (£1.60), bananas (67p), nectarines (£1.50), carrots (55p), 2 packs of YS asparagus (£1.48 each), YS mango chunks (£2.19), mushrooms (£1.60), and sweet bell peppers (£1.95).

    £221.60 / £400 spent. £178.40 remaining.

    Hi, I'm in for August again - overall total £115. I'm going to split that as £45 for 2 ravenous black cats and £70 for 1 human woman including all groceries, toiletries and household.
    First shop of the month = cats - wet + dry food £14.48/ £45 & Human grocery + household £15.09/£70
    Total = £29.57
    Second shop of the month = cats - dry food + treats £7.70 = £22.18/£45 & Human grocery + household £19.57 = £34.05/ £70
    Total =£56.23/£115
    Small top up shop of £7.76 for human grocery and household. Bringing new totals to £41.81/£70 for grocery + household and £22.18/£45 for cats.

    Overall total =£63.99/ £115
