I’ve never seen a Prime Van.
Actually I’ve never seen an Evri van either. All our deliveries are from Royal Mail, HM or A&M. These are local couriers that deliver on behalf of… Evri, Yodel, DHL, DPD etc.
I do flinch when I see a delivery is coming by Evri because I know there will be a delay before it gets into our local system compared with the others. But it does get here in the end.

There was a time when Amazon would extend Prime by 1 month if you contacted CS about a late parcel, they'd do this 6 times in a year subscription so you could end up with 18 months for the price of 12 but the goodwill perks on Amazon have slowly disappeared over the years which leaves voting with your feet as the main option.

Whilst it defeats one of the points of Prime, paying for express delivery might see a better courier used.

So your concern is the anxiety knowing a parcel is coming with Evri gives you, rather than an actual issue with a Prime delivery you've had via Evri?

No, you don't have any rights because Amazon can contract delivery out to who they like. You're of course welcome to cancel your Prime membership if it's a problem for you.

Know the feeling. Had a delivery this week, that stated @Depot. Delivery driver was knocking on door as I checked.. Great guy. Delivers with care.

Mine was recently delivered by Royal Mail  / DHL and oh what a suprise one day delivery actually meant three!

Mine got like that so I thought why am I paying for Prime.  I cancelled prime and decline their offer of 99p extra for this delivery
or a discount to subscribe again and then choose the free postage option.  All deliveries since cancelling have actually
arrived faster than when I had prime.

Not sure if they do it as an incentive to get Prime again?   Since cancelling I do tend to check prices more carefully when it's
something that I do not need right away.

When your a Prime member it's often too easy to think it will arrive with free delivery even if you don't mind waiting a few days
which I sometimes had to do with Prime orders anyway.  There are some items that only appear on Amazon though.

I'd be surprised if it did, choosing a different seller on Amazon may result in you paying a premium for the goods but there is probably more chance that they happen to use a different courier but its a roll of the dice as they too may use them.

Personally find all courier much a muchness. Have had problems with all of them at some point. Amazon themselves are fairly irritating in choosing a random option when they've done something other than handed it to us or put it through the letter box... so does "handed to receptionist" mean left with number 4 or dumped in the communal hallway or something else this week?

The only exception is UPS collecting parcels, always get the same guy and he's aware that its a big multi-floor place despite being a "flat" and so waits rather than wandering off after 10 seconds but when UPS deliver its never been him for some reason.
