Amazon prime items sent through Evri - can I do anything about this?

Hi I am a Prime member and recently, a few of my Prime packages have been delivered by Prime. I rely heavily on Prime due to my health; however, Evri are known for damaging parcels / losing them and therefore not delivering properly to my address and this has caused me so much anxiety.
Can I do anything about this, given I pay a lot of money for prime? And I am only choosing products that say 'Amazon Prime' in them? do they have the right to do this? Also, where can i make a complaint if this is the case that they can continue to do so?
I will seriously be considering cancelling my prime account if they continue to use EVRI because of the level of aniexty and fear I get when I see a parcel is being sent by EVRI and I certainly don;t expect to feel that give the amount of money I pay for Prime.

If parcels actually being delivered to you are damaged or they're being lost then notify Amazon accordingly, but if you're just concerned that you think this might happen then I can't see you have a leg to stand on....3

Can I do anything about this, given I pay a lot of money for prime? Nothing except cancelling your subscription. And I am only choosing products that say 'Amazon Prime' in them? do they have the right to do this? They do indeed. Also, where can i make a complaint if this is the case that they can continue to do so?As it stands, you have nothing to complain about. If the parcels are delivered when they should be and undamged, that's what you've paid for.I will seriously be considering cancelling my prime account if they continue to use EVRI because of the level of aniexty and fear I get when I see a parcel is being sent by EVRI and I certainly don;t expect to feel that give the amount of money I pay for Prime.

'Prime' is not just limited to Amazon themselves. 3rd party sellers on Amazon can also qualify to sell under Prime and Evri is one of the carriers that Amazon allow 3rd party Prime sellers to use.

I'm not sure if Amazon themselves ever use Evri instead of their own shipping service. You may find you reduce the chances of Evri being used if you make sure you only buy products offered by Amazon and not any 3rd party sellers.0 -

Firstly: Evri don't have the best reputation as a courier, but they still successfully deliver the great majority of the parcels with which they are entrusted. Otherwise they'd have gone out of business.
Secondly: *IF* something were to go awry with an item you ordered from Amazon, what would be the worst case scenario? You might need to raise a complaint with Amazon and get the item redelivered?0 -
I had prime via PO, dpd & Evri.
Remember some prime purchases are via 3rd parties & they contract delivery to other couriers.Life in the slow lane0 -
Looked at my purchasing history and a couple of recent buys were sold by Amazon and despatched from Amazon, delivered by Evri.

As another poster has suggested this is far more likely with 3rd party sellers than with items sold by Amazon themselves.
I would also guess (but don't know) that the chances of this happening are higher in more rural areas than in a big city where there will be multiple Prime Vans delivering every day. Are Amazon really going to send a van specially to a remote croft in the Highlands (say)?0 -
Everywhere seems to be different. I have had prime deliveries from Evri & PO & obviously prime. I have never had any problems with Evri or PO. Amazon themselves is a whole different ballgame. Mostly because the majority of their delivery people cannot obey simple delivery instructions. I am glad I do not live across the road as they persistently walk though their gate & up their path before passing several houses to get to mine on the other side. Satnav is god - except when it is not.0

Mine was recently delivered by Royal Mail / DHL and oh what a suprise one day delivery actually meant three!0

We've had Amazon packages delivered by a 'Prime' van, by EVRI, by Royal Mail and probably by others. I don't think a Prime member can dictate the carrier.0
