    Hi Everyone

    A quick update.

I submitted my Statement  on the 8/8 and have just received the email from DCB Legal saying they intend to proceed with the claim but they may be prepared to settle. They have attached a copy their Direction's Questionnaire.

I await my questionnaire to complete. Anything else I should do in the meantime.

While you await DQ please complete the Govt survey Coupon-mad mentioned.

You can complete it online. Doesn't have to all be completed at one visit, you can save it and return until you're finished then submit it. Think there's an option to get copy of your response too.

Takes a couple of hours, even with the ideas and tips in the thread.

Don't worry. Read my ideas re each question and if you agree with our stance, use some of the examples and things people have posted. It needs to be your opinion but you'll see.

If you've done it or are snout to - Thankyou!

    Hi All.

    So completed the consultation.

and just received the N180. completing it was going OK until D1 and the box appears to be limited in the number of characters that can be entered. I have tried various way to make the reply fit but it won't has anyone managed to figure this out?

What are you trying to state in the box; you only need to state NO, you need to have a hearing so that you can put your side of the case.  If you search the forum, you will find advice on what to put in this box and how to fit it in.
One such reply I found was as below: -
I am not content for the case to be heard 'on the papers' because that seems to disproportionately give an advantage to a legally represented party.  I feel strongly after all these years of intimidating demands from this aggressive parking firm and their agents, that I need a voice at an attended hearing.
I wish to question the Claimant about their evidence at a hearing in person and to expose omissions and any misleading or incorrect evidence or assertions.
Given the Claimant is a firm who complete cut & paste parking case paperwork for a living, having this case heard solely on papers would appear to put the Claimant at an unfair advantage, especially as they would no doubt prefer the Defendant not to have the opportunity to expose the issues in the Claimants template submissions or speak as the only true witness to events in question.

.... and this image was posted just after the N180 form changed just to prove it would all fit in the box.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried several ways to make the statement fit the box but below is all I can get in the box of the statement above even after editing for paragraphs and spaces.

I have edited it to make it fit and ensure hopefully it still makes sense.

This is what I got to fit the D1 box.

It maybe of help to others.
