Super-fast DC charging is advised to 80% as it slows down dramatically from there on up... and en route that extra time is just time wasted.
What use is a vehicle with a battery that can only ever be used between 80 and 20 % of capacity = range? They all tend to have 'hidden' extra capacity or buffer zones to prevent damage.
My Samsung phone charges to 80% then anticipates when to continue to 100% to be ready foe when I get up and disconnect it.0
