Well I didn't understand your initial query either.Having read the whole thread I now understand (I hope?) that the strong prescription voucher is not aplicable if you are claiming another voucher, so as you arnt claiming another voucher you are entitled to it. So your query is that the voucher is not detailed on the receipt and you dont know whether its been applied or not?I would assume that even with any discount offers from the optician, the strong prescription voucher should be detailed separately on the receipt. So looks like its not been applied? So yes of course you have the right to query it. Go back in or phone, to query the receipt, possibly better Monday - Friday as Saturday part-time staff may not be as knowledgeable. It sounds like your proof is on your prescription so take that with you.0

I'd certainly ask them to check that they've deducted the voucher, if there's any doubt at all.
I assumed the OP saw the breakdown of the cost when they agreed the £230 figure. But, perhaps that's not what happened. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

It was not his voucher, it was NHS voucher so was not a payment made by him.
The receipt was for what he paid. The voucher payment would be claimed from. NHS.1
