NHS health costs - glasses

Hi,
This might be in the wrong part of the forum.
I ordered glasses from an independent/individual High Street optician.
The cost came to £230 after they discounted it but the receipt does not show the discount for complex lens voucher. I have a strong prescription. I am not entitled to any other voucher.
I paid £30 deposit. The lady said the glasses will be ready in 7-10 days. It is not ready yet.
Is there anything I can say to them now?
I chose 'transitions' lenses.

Or, the receipt still shows the £230?0 -
Grumpy_chap, the receipt says £230 which was agreed.
I will go to the shop and ask them.

Can I check that you are complaining that the receipt is not complicated enough? You want the piece of paper to contain more information, such as the price of the glasses before the voucher and the value of the voucher? Is that because you think that they have made a mistake with the figures? Or you just like complicated bits of paper? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1

If you have a complex prescription, then it may take longer. As it will depend on stock levels of the lenses at factory making the lenses.
Although as per other issue. Your optician will be able to contact factory for a update.Life in the slow lane1 -
Glasses cost £230 plus value of voucher.
You paid £230 and have an invoice for that amount.
Do you think the invoice should show full price of glasses less voucher and balance paid by you?

I've just bought new glasses, had to remind the Optician that i qualified for the voucher. Worked out about £20 off a single pair.
2 pairs single complex lenses and frames worked out about £500. Have to pay extra for thin lenses.
I'd go back to the retailer and ask for clarity.

What are the criteria and how does one who is eligible obtain the voucher?
My last glasses the lenses were £205 each, so £410 for the whole pair.2 -

Free NHS eye tests and optical vouchers - NHSNHS complex lens vouchers
To be eligible for a complex lens voucher, your lenses need to be either -10/+10 dioptres or more, or prism-controlled bifocal lenses.
Complex lens vouchers are a contribution towards the cost of these lenses – currently £15.81 for single vision lenses and £40.57 for bifocal lenses.
The vouchers are only available to those who meet the clinical criteria and are not eligible for one of the main optical vouchers.
