Used Mobile Resellers
Options
Just over a year ago I bought a used Samsung mobile from a reseller on Ebay. After using it for a year, I decided to upgrade found an online recycler offering a good price for this model. I sent it into them but to my surprise they rejected it saying the phone had been repaired with an inferior screen. I haven't gone back to the reseller as its now well over a year since I bought it and the phone hadn't given me any issues, but I'm a bit irritated by this never the less.
Has anyone else had this experience, should resellers not be open about selling repaired items especially if they're using inferior parts?

This seems to be a fairly widespread practice. I am an iPhone user and buy used, and usually when I get a new handset it tells me that some of the components (generally the battery) are not genuine Apple parts. Some retailers tell you this in the listing but many do not.0
