  • I think it is more helpful to people who come here seeking advice to stick to what actually happened rather than going off at tangents and giving answers that have little relevance.
You are going to be very disappointed! :)

I am already...I think it is important when people who have no knowledge of Consumer Rights come to MSE for advice get clear and concise help. Deal with the topic asked...not your pet hobby horse.

Or, how about offering some "clear and concise help" yourself instead of sniping at other peoples' ?

My help is trying to get people who reply to answer what is asked instead of going off into somewhere that may or may not be of interest six months hence...your help has been? There's already enough tangential reply stuff for people to plough through without repeating it ad nauseum.

You can return it OP. Make sure it’s factory reset and your WiFi details are removed and you haven’t logged into any accounts such as Netflix. They won’t know any difference. I don’t know what size of TV it is, but if it’s over 32 inches, there will be a collection charge for a change of mind.

You can of course cancel the contract, however you’re then responsible for returning it.

    I’d just send it back.

We realised after just 5 minutes the TV us just not suitable for our room  it is just not bright enough and the picture we dont think is as crisp as our last one.

Did you try adjusting the picture settings?

It may have left the factory with less than optimum settings for your situation and personal preferences.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".

Answer is already there on the front page.
So you are offering no help by trying to get replies..🤷‍♀️
