BT Fibre Offers

BACKTOBACK

Im currently with BT now and pay £20 per month for FTTC with 36mbps download. My phone is with EE which i believe gives a discount but not sure.
Full fibre FTTP has just been installed in my area and i would really like the Fibre 500 at the moment its showing £35.99 online for a two year contract with mid term increases.
Im in no rush to change. But just wondered if BT have regular discounts or offers? Would it be possible to get a cheaper deal to wait for a promotion or is £35.99 a fair price?
Edit: I would like to stay with BT as i have found there standard router to be one of the best provided by the ISP's

I've not seen many BT offers really. The price is always high but they do quite often give you a voucher when signing up.
Moneysaving expert has this page at the moment - Best BT broadband deals for July 2025 - MSE which offers £60 and £80 vouchers depending on what you sign up to.

If you are paying £20/month I would stay as long as possible!
They will probably force you over to EE as some point.
Interested to know how much you pay EE and for what?
Typical charge for BT or EE is around £35 (going up £3 every year)0 -
Are you sure you need 500Mbps? Will be overkill unless you've got a house full of gamers each running 8k real-time Call of Duty.
Would a lesser speed be a reasonable saving?0 -

I think EE were offering me (when I haggled) £25 for the BB, and £10 for a 20Gb SIM.
So I think you have a good deal! My only worry would be signing up for a 2 year SIM deal, and BT doing changes in that period
Yeah they like you to have a SIM, and that seams to be the only way they can offer BB at a sensible price0
