Long story short, I am trying to locate a burial / grave location in the UK.I intend to pay my respects on my return to the UK but although the family of the deceased held an open to everyone funeral service , the internment was private with strictly only immediate family permitted to attend. Typically six months to allow the ground to settle before a headstone can be placed. Many funeral directors use temporary markers, which in some cases remain if a headstone isn't arranged.
