LISA Transfer Issues

Options
Can anyone help please! I have tried to attempt to transfer my existing LISA into a Plum account on a couple of occasions and have been declined due to the HMRC check stating that i have already paid contributions into my LISA this tax year. I haven't paid any contributions in to this account.

I have a separate cash ISA with Plum which i have paid into this year and i'm currently still under my allowance for the year.
On Plum's LISA application it only states 'have you made any contributions to an existing LISA this tax year'.
Surely the fact i haven't and that i am still under my 20K allowance for the year i should be accepted?
If anyone can give me any help on this i would appreciate it as Plum's contact support is not being helpful at all.

There is no "HMRC check" (other than compliance activity over a year later), so Plum are doing this for their own reasons, flawed though they apparently are.  Perhaps your current LISA provider is telling them that you've contributed this year, but even then that's not a reason for either party to decline a transfer?
