UK Fire Door Regulations for Landlords

Thank you so much for your replies so far.
The 'proper independent review' is from another fire door company! This other fire door company made the review in the first place and recommended my door needed to be changed. However the local company that did the work did not change the door and made the necessary changes to make the door compliant, performed a full fire door survey and issued a compliance certificate. Why shouldn't this suffice? unless the Board of Directors are being nasty because I did not use their more expensive contractors?
This is the sunny south coast of the UK. Lovely flat with a happy tenant and I have done all the work that has been asked of me and all the regulations are fully met and compliant. Except it seems like no matter what I do the Board of Directors are being difficult hence my posting to you all for advice0
