All you have done is gone against their banking terms and conditions, nothing more.

Gambling isn`t fraud, it may be irrational behaviour, it may be silly, but it isn`t fraud.

You are worrying about something that isnt going to happen. Gambling isnt fraud.
This is what I keep telling myself. But on their t&cs it mentions something about not using your account for excessive gambling
That still isnt "fraud". Its just a term and condition of their account, they dont like how much gambling you do and therefore they dont want you as a customer.

Thats it. No fraud has taken place. No fraud marker

You are working yourself into a right tizz. Banks reserve the right to choose who they have as a customer as long as they aren't basing it on a protected characteristic. They could close your account merely if you started wearing Crocs. They dont close accounts just for "fraud".

thank you, appreciate you trying to settle my nerves.

I also just received this from CIFAS (but I guess I may have asked too soon as this only happened tues).  But I’ll try and stop worrying for the moment.

    • The bank closed your account (for any one of dozens of possible reasons).
    • You decided on your own that it was because you had "comitted fraud".
    • None of the actions you described constituted fraud.
    • You asked on a reputable forum if you comitted fraud.
    • About a dozen regular posters assured you you did NOT commit fraud.
    • Zero posters suggested you DID commit fraud.
    • You post again the next day asking if "anyone else has an opinion".
    • Another 5-6 posters assure you you haven't commited fraud.
    • You approach the fraud register to ask if your "fraud" is on record.
Read the above assuming it is someone else posting and not you, and tell me if you think they commited fraud?...then please try to relax. :)

    • The poor only have expenses.
    • The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.
