DCB Legal, Letter of Claim

Hi All,
I would really appreciate some help. On Friday I received a letter of claim from DCB Legal on behalf of Brittany’s parking regarding a parking charge I didn’t pay back in February. I have rung and challenged this on the phone without them budging on the amount to pay. I have a file on my Laptop semi complete which makes me think I didn’t get round to fully appealing the charge like I normally would. I wanted to know if I’m best just sucking this up and paying the £260 within the 14 days as I really don’t want a CCJ. I have ignored all their letters as I didn’t expect it to get to this point.

You mean Britannia.
And if it's £260 you mean you have a Claim Form, not a Letter of Claim.
Obviously you don't pay it. Dead easy to defend and they'll discontinue by Xmas.
Seems to me that you haven't read the second post of the NEWBIES thread yet, about Claim Form stage (you are NOT at LBC stage, despite your thread title).
Show us the claim form, redacting the same 4 things seen on all the other DCB Legal claim threads you saw when you browsed the forum.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

@Coupon-mad
Thanks very much for your reply and apologies for going over things you may have seen time and time again.I have inserted the letter as requested.0 -
Definitely not a Letter of Claim, it's a live court claim, Britannia Parking via DCB Legal
Post the Issue date from the top right of the claim form below1 -
There's a VRM still showing on the POC.1

Your deadline date for the defence submission on MCOL will then be 4pm on 18th August1 -
Don't worry about the vrm on show, but it should have been redacted
You must submit a defence to the live court claim, so adapt the template defence, regardless of what you believe1 -
I am struggling to find the right template. Forgive me for my ignorance but with so many abbreviations I struggle to navigate these forums even through reading how too! Even if I believe I have no defence, I am still mean to submit one? What would you suggest the content of my defence be?Thanks for the help!0
