What was the cost of a cubic metre last year compared with the cost this year, likewise what was the standing charge last year compared with the cost this year (do the same for the sewerage component) and you'll find out what the increase was.

Just having a whinge about the DD increasing gives us no information whatsoever about your consumption or whether you've ramped up some arrears.

My cost per cu'm has gone up by around 20% Last year my DD was £38 so this year it would have gone up to £46 if it was just paying the 20% increase. However we had around £50 in arrears , which means another another £4.50 a month to pay the arrears plus £5 a month assuming that we'll use the same amount next year making the DD for this year £55.50 which is what I'd expect.
