Is 30GB data enough for a few days in Ireland

I have a Lebara phone and I understand the deal includes 30GB of data while overseas. (4 days only)
I don't really know how far this will go .. basicially I'll be doing the following ..
Looking on Google Maps for directions, such as bus / tram options.
Transport for Ireland all .. as above
Perhaps sending a text message or two to family in England
Sending the off image, by Wattsapp home to family
Most of the time, I'll turn off mobile data on the phone
Will 30GB be OK, or should I pay extra for more data ?
It seems to be £5 for 3GB extra, which seems expensive

More than enough I would say, to be honest I don't use 20GB in a month with normal usage.0

Why not check in your phone's settings to see how much data you normally use? Or alternatively online with your mobile operator will undoubtedly tell you. Personally use about 6gb a month so 30gb would do me for 5 months not just 4 days0

I doubt you'd get anywhere near that unless you were constantly streaming stuff (e.g. spending the evening on Netflix).
You can download the relevant base map onto Google Maps before you go.1 -
It will be more than enough for the use you describe.
Recently went on holiday for a week and bought 10GB. Used my phone a lot for Google maps, WhatsApp, Internet searches etc. Only used 3GB in the 7 days, and I wasn't being careful.
Don't forget WiFi will be available in a lot of places too if you're worried about the data. But 30GB is a huge amount for 4 days. You shouldn't need to worry about turning data on and off.1 -
A lot of people way over-estimate how much data they actually need or use. As long as you aren't streaming video in your hotel (and there will probably be wifi for that) then 1GB can last a surprising amount of time.
The billing section of your mobile account should tell you how much data you typically use on a monthly basis.0 -

I take 20g for a whole month away and come back with lots left over.
Check your phone to see how much you use.
Unless you are glued to your phone watching videos for the entirety of your trip, you don't need even half of that!
2g will probably be more than enough from what you mentioned, depending on your usage.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

I watched half a football match on my phone on the beach one day (yes, I know) and ran out of data.I simply logged onto my Lebara app and bought some more - simple.0

I assume data overseas is the same as data in the UK.
On that basis, 30GB would be impossible to use in a few days.
How much data do you have in your normal "at home" plan and how much of that do you actually use in a month?
Unless you are going to sit in a hotel room streaming video, 30GB is a lot of data.
If you are going to sit in a hotel room streaming video, might as well stay at home and sit in your bedroom streaming video and get UBER EATS to bring your room service delivery. Very MSE.
