Suds/Soakaways

Options
I’ve just found out I was being charged for surface water at my previous house for 4 years when I shouldn’t have been.  Apparently if there is a Suds/Soakaway system in place you don’t get charged but all the residents on the estate were charged.  People have just found out and are rightly querying it and getting refunds but Seven Trent Water are refusing to accept my claim as more than a year since I moved.

I have asked that this is escalated as a complaint and if I don’t get any joy I’ll look at going to the bank as I paid direct debit.

If you live in a new house it’s likely this will affect you.

if anyone can offer any positive advice to me, I’m open to suggestions.

Thank you
