If anyone could point me to the right direction of cases or previous defences that are similar I would be grateful! I am wanting to get this one in today before I go back to night shifts.

Once this one is in, I will address the other, however the circumstances are the same and would think my defence is also the same.
    Just use the template defence.

Or do I admit defeat because I have no defence? I’m so stressed and overwhelmed by it all I wonder if that is just better.
    No.
Ok thank you. In the defence template for paragraph 3, do I leave blank? Or maybe you could offer some advice for a specific topic to cover in that part? I’m struggling as reading others defences, they have more reason and rationale. I have no defence from where I’m standing?

Sorry to double @ you. As you said, the defence needs to be sent in ASAP, and I have a blank paragraph 3. Should I just leave it this way? Do you have anything more specific I can refer to or write in this part? The defence template is great and have that, but in regards to para 3, the reasons and cases suggested arent relevant and therefore I have nothing to write? I really have no idea what to write, and will likely be submitting without the info in paragraph 3.

Don't have a blank para 3 - if numbered  renumber so 4 becomes 3 - if that makes sense...

    Yep Got it, thank you.
I think I have it sorted that I am using para 1-7 as per the new defence template and then adding from pararaph 4 onwards from the defence template in the newbies thread?
As I havent added anything, I have a total of 11 paragraphs?

    No. Use the Template Defence.

And do NOT have a blank paragraph 3, obviously.  Unless you want your defence struck out for failing to respond to the POC,

Hope you defended these unnecessarily duplicated claims in time?

They'll discontinue in 2026 anyway (well DCB Legal will, if you defended and if you follow all our steps.

Did you see the Public Consultation and read the guidance thread about that too? Deadline extended to next Friday: FIGHTBACK ALERT:

Please do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital survey before the deadline next week. See this thread:

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance to help focus new posters on the issues. I've covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam over 18 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.

    CLOSES ON FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER.
