Skipton problems with deposits today?

Additionally Santander's Edge account allows free CHAPS payments if you need to make a large one off payment, e.g. for buying property etc.

Is anyone experiencing problems with bank transfers to Skipton accounts today? I made a transfer from my bank shortly after midnight today which is not yet showing in my Skipton savings account (usually transfers to Skipton seem to show within 1 - 2 hours).

I asked Skipton about this and it seems that there is a problem with their banking intermediary Barclays regarding processing payments into and out of Skipton accounts at present. They have not been notified of a timescale for a fix.

Fingers crossed it will be resolved by the end of the day, I hope!

There was an issue with Barclays. As we use Barclays for our banking services, this caused some of our payments to be affected. Barclays resolved their internal issues and we worked closely with them to carry out remediation works. Normal service has resumed and outstanding payments have been processed. We're sorry for the delays experienced.
