what do you think of the 2 different store signage one clearly marking the 2 hour limit and the other not
    That is your main point.

I need to check the wording of the 28 days to see if that is compliant.
Nope: the POFA is irrelevant to you.

Show us your draft. DO NOT include the loooooong blurb after 'Exaggerated Claim' that people keep copying.

I plan to use the witness statement template from here.
    No such thing.

Do NOT use a template at WS stage except that your WS should be your account of what happened (AND THAT YOU WERE DRIVING) plus then add para 4-10 of the current (short) template defence. That adds a few more points you might otherwise have missed.

Then your SoT and signature & date.

Exhibits are listed in Post 2 of the NEWBIES thread.  Include your exhibits.

And a separate page of hearing costs.

Do this tonight if your deadline is tomorrow.

Thanks all done & submitted - noticed that the contract with the landlord VCS had used in their WS was a year out of date so played on this as well

    Great! It's in.

Now read this message and please do the Public Consultation, either now or after your hearing when you may have more to say:

So hearing was today - Judge was very dismissive of the VCS / DBS claim - firstly he kicked out their supplementary witness statement out as it was 12 days after the deadline and then kicked their case out as it was based on an unsigned out of date contract - he was then very ind to award me costs on a £95 for my day off work & parking & petrol. He finished off by refusing their right to appeal.

Great day for VCS & DBS
Brilliant! Did they send a rep?

    Congrats! Which Judge & Court?

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Do stick around. This month, we need you:

PLEASE bookmark this thread below and do the government's Public Consultation if you haven't done it yet. Their proposals are wrong. We must stop them.

We need every poster to come back & complete this vital Consultation before the deadline! Just 2 weeks left but please don't rush it. You can do some then save it and come back to it as you have time.

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that.

There are vital points to safeguard motorists interests to make, that many people won't think of without our guidance. There won't be a template - the survey is for you to reply in your words - but we'll help everyone with what to focus on.

I'm taking a closer look this week and we'll walk you through it. I should have all the first post 'how to respond to each question' advice ready by the end of this week.

I've made a start, covered up to question 9 already. Be patient with me as this is detailed and we don't think average motorists will know about raising the extra points otherwise.

Yeah they sent a rep but the judge didn't give him much

    Very good!

Any questions on the Consultation please ask - on the dedicated thread - but I've covered up to question 20 already on that thread, openly telling everyone what I'm going to put and/or what sort of evidence you might wish to use for your response, if you agree with what we'll be saying from our experience.

Whilst your answers must of course be your own, t
here are vital points to safeguard motorists interests to make, that many people may not think of without our guidance because we see cases every day and we know the legal background. However, people like you have lived & breathed the intimidation, greed and unfairness first hand so your voice is needed!
