Virgin Media - Early renawal

I am on an 18 month contract that expires in December when the rental is due to double. This is my only option for BB as the people who built this house had VM cabled to it but I can’t have any service from anyone using OpenReach as there is no line of sight form the pole that should serve us.

I logged into the account to day, and found I can renew my contract, pay a small amount less for the next 18 months but before I do that is it worth hanging on a couple more months or is it likely that I might lose the currrent offer if I start a new contract in day October instead?

I left it until this morning when I had an email offering a 24 month contract for the same price I was paying for the old 18 month one. The original offers on my account page have gone and replaced are with new ones with an increase of £11 per month or the same service (250Mb BB only).

I was not going to risk having to pay double in December.
