Finance Commission Claim

Hi, I've initiated a claim c 1 yr ago now. One of the firms has said i am eligible (great) the other however cannot find my agreement. I've provided proof of a direct debit and proof of ownership at the time. The purchase was c 12 years ago now, I've provided everything they have asked for but they still cannot find it. The finance was taken via Mercedes, so I wonder if this will likely kill the matter so to speak.

No one knows yet. 

Under GDPR they are obliged not to hold personal data any longer than is necessary and so given the timespan being considered by the FCA lots of companies won't be holding records any more if they are GDPR compliant. Undoubtedly the FCA will be clear on its expectations on what firms should be doing if they have legitimately deleted old data.
