I think you should escalate to a claim as seller is not being helpful.

It doesn't matter where they bought it from if it's not advertised as new, the seller is responsible for the item if it's faulty.
I'm very suspicious they bought it from Hong Kong in the first place. Chances are the phone is a fake or stolen.
Send the item via SD, and then in your paypal dispute you will be able to prove you've returned it and a refund should be straightforward following that.It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -

The one that says "Congratulations, you won item bla bla"..
The sellers address is usually on there near the bottom of the email.
Or if he sent you an invoice it should be on that too.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
