How do I get a Cancellation Invoice from Aer Lingus

We were due to fly return to Aer Lingus last week but I cancelled the flights back in April due to my husband's illness and he'd been advised not to fly. Despite trying to communicate with them in many different ways, they still haven't sent me a Cancellation Invoice so I can't claim the travel insurance. When they have communicated with me, all they do is confirm that my booking was cancelled. I've told them I need information on what I've paid and whether I've received any money back.

Does anyone know a good way to get through to them please? My husband's illness is distressing enough without having to spend hours trying to get through to them.
