I just got the same mark on two tyres.

They have tons of tread left and think they are safe to continue with.

However I know I bought them on a deal just before the pandemic hit and then my car usage effectively stopped for a year so I was a bit late to bring them into play. They are dated late 2019 so I will probably replace them within the next  year on age grounds.

Check the four digit age stamp. It will probably be visible on one or other of the rear tyres. It shows week and year, eg 3119

Generally you don't want to be running on rubber more than 6 years old though I understand Michelin (i guess yours aren't) say theirs are good for 10 years.

Edit: I also got the oil leak one but I never top-up between changes and it never leaves a mark on the floor. So no idea what the examiner saw there.
