That's how to get a court claim behind your back so you cannot leave things like this. Even in Scotland you MUST tell them to erase your old address.angry_fluffy_bunny said:I've just realised that VCS have given me a PCN when I lived at a previous address, and the debt collection letters have actually stopped coming after I moved.
I assume both are Scottish addresses?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Your important 'job' in July/August is now this:angry_fluffy_bunny said:Update: no response from their data protection about erasing my old address, but the PCNs have started coming through to my new address.Don't pay, but don't ignore, etc. will be filing these letters away.
It's very important that people like you tell the Government that you have no faith in the parking industry and the DRA demands are a pathetic attempt to extort money.
THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED.
DISPUTED CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY DEMANDING MORE MONEY AND ENGINEERING A 'PAYMENT PLAN'.
Responses are invited to the Consultation now:

Applies in Scotland too. Please respond.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's been a few months now, and I have still heard nothing from their Data Protection team except for the initial automated response. This is obviously in breach of my right to rectification within 30 days.I already sent a follow-up complaint last week using this as a guide: https://ico.org.uk/for-the-public/how-to-make-a-data-protection-complaint/What's the best way to continue chasing this down? Should I even bother?

Report them to the ICO2

This keeps getting better! I have recently received a reply after following up with a complaint, and after faffing around with some automated replies they have emailed me Subject Access Requests which show an updated mailing address... alongside a letter clearly intended for someone else! (Not my name, not my plate, not my time/location)1

LOL! Is the complaint in with the ICO?angry_fluffy_bunny said:This keeps getting better! Apparently I have to make a complaint with the company first. Easy enough.Coupon-mad said:
