Elderly parents taken advantage of
Comments
-
The OP seems to know very little. He wasn't there at the time and does not know if his parents will be charged ETF. Until that is the case, I think it's difficult to say they have been mis-sold anything. Also the fact he mentions their ages does not mean they are vulnerable. Would like to see what his parents reaction to that is.3

Retail store staff are people and they deserve the same respect and decency that any one would reasonably expect to be extended in the workplace.9 -

Raising your voice to get what you want is not tolerated in any other kind of work environment where such behaviour would be deemed unprofessional.
Shouting off instore would certainly not be in line with the positive behaviours encouraged by the Police:

Are they definitely on a new contract with sky and not on a 30 day notice period as they are out of contract now?1

I think they have been mis-sold if they were not at the end of their old contract.0 bonus saver

But if it makes you feel better, OP can complain loudly at a normal decibel. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

One company will pay towards leaving fee's.
Just because you are in contract with someone else & then take up a offer with another provider is not mis selling. That is buyers choice.Life in the slow lane0 -

There are two reasons why. This will not get the business on the OP's side and secondly if the dispute were ever formalised in (e.g small claims action) the court will draw adverse inference from an attempt to harm the other party's business. It's the courts job to "punish" not the OP. The OP, should they receive permission and authorisation from their parents to act on their behalf, has the duty to work with the business to resolve matters and minimise costs.3 -
