The OP seems to know very little. He wasn't there at the time and does not know if his parents will be charged ETF. Until that is the case, I think it's difficult to say they have been mis-sold anything.
Also the fact he mentions their ages does not mean they are vulnerable. Would like to see what his parents reaction to that is.

    That's a incredible leap.

Are they definitely on a new contract with sky and not on a 30 day notice period as they are out of contract now?

I think they have been mis-sold if they were not at the end of their old contract.

    Is it?

It was Olympian, the Gods were in awe.

But if it makes you feel better, OP can complain loudly at a normal decibel

    Why?
One company will pay towards leaving fee's.
Just because you are in contract with someone else & then take up a offer with another provider is not mis selling. That is buyers choice.

Perhaps go back to the store on the busy day and speak loudly about them selling your elderly parents an expensive phone contract they don't need?
This is incredibly poor advice and I'm surprised an experienced forum member would recommend this.

There are two reasons why. This will not get the business on the OP's side and secondly if the dispute were ever formalised in (e.g small claims action) the court will draw adverse inference from an attempt to harm the other party's business. It's the courts job to "punish" not the OP. The OP, should they receive permission and authorisation from their parents to act on their behalf, has the duty to work with the business to resolve matters and minimise costs.

    loudly at a normal decibel.
Which is, of course, an oxymoron.
