No 2nd class postal deliveries at the weekend

Just letters.  I believe actually only going to be delivered every 2nd day. Mon - Wed - Fri one week Tue - Thur the next and so on

In some areas there are already issues, i think they might welcome a 4 day a week delivery, it would be an improvement.

Birthday card sent (1st class) from London to Lancashire in April took 9 working days, postman told the recipient there was just no way they could deliver stuff any quicker. A birthday card (2nd class) sent Saturday 5th from London to Kent is still to arrive.

Here in London both my OH and I have never received hospital letters supposedly sent 25 and 12 days ago respectively , one was cancelling and rebooking an appt  - and due to not getting the letter we still attended to appt to find it was cancelled.

Yes, Monday, Wednesday, Friday one week followed by Tuesday, Thursday the next.
