Paying with cryptocurrency

I've been asked to pay for something with cryptocurrency but problem is I know nothing about it. This needs to be done in next ten days. Where do I start? Help!

Looks like this device is not available yet and when it is, you'll need to access via an audiologist as it is not something you can DIY. So the scammers are capitalising on the wait time and preying on those desperate to try it.
