Some legitimate organisations support payment using cryptocurrency (though not many). I don't think any legitimate organisation would require payment by cryptocurrency.6

Agree with the above, sounds dodgy, but if it isnt open a Coinbase account. Easy enough.3

If this is the only payment method it is either a scam or you are purchasing something that is not legal to sell.6

That sounds like a lot of malarkey to me!If you want to be rich, live like you're poor; if you want to be poor, live like you're rich.3 -
OP, please speak to someone you trust before paying for anything with crypto. Based on your recent post elsewhere on these boards, there's some major things going on in your life at present, and it is at these times that we are most susceptible to scammers.
Crypto and an urgency to pay are two major red flags here.7 -

Crypto and an urgency to pay are two major red flags here.I couldn't agree more. Whilst Crypto is gradually starting to become ever-so-slightly more widespread as an accepted payment method for a small number of companies, no genuine company would insist upon it as the only payment method available. And yes, instilling a sense of urgency is pretty much the oldest known and most obvious warning of a scam. Whatever it is you're thinking of buying, I have one piece of advice - don't.

I agree with this sentiment.

However it is also a standard sales technique. ' Last few in stock' ' Only one room left' ' Sale ends Friday' etc3
