Hello
I've been following all your directions and have completed my DQ which now needs to be emailed to the court as well as DCB Legal and UK Parking Control Limited, sorry if I've missed the thread but wondering if you have email address for DCB Legal and UKPC I can't seem to find them on a google search or in the threads anywhere?
Thank you
Susannah Stevenson

Dont bother just send it to the court
It serves no purpose on this track sending it to the other party.2 -
You don't send anything to UKPC direct.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello, so I have a mediation appointment sent to me via email for August 28th I’m a bit confused what I need to do now my fine was parking in a disabled space.
How do I defend this as I did park there for a short amount of time with my elderly mum before she got her disabled badge I don’t really dispute that but I cannot afford to pay their extortionate fine it’s so much more than a council parking ticket otherwise I would have paid? With this in mind do I negotiate a settlement amount to get this settled?Thank you for assistance

Study the mediation stage advice in the second post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements
That stage is about reaching a settlement, or not, nothing to do with your case itself
So if you want to negotiate a settlement figure, start at say £10, if necessary rising to say £20, £30 etc, trying to stay in low double figures
Don't call it a fine or make your feelings known, it's a business transaction, you want the lowest possible figure they will accept, so you start low, they start high, you try to get a figure that you are willing to pay in full to make this go away
If you cannot agree a settlement figure, the case will continue regardless of your feelings on the subject.
Bear in mind that most cases are discontinued before dcb legal have to pay the £27 trial fee
Either way, put your personal feelings in a box, you need a cool head when haggling, just like in Egypt or Turkey etc
But
We would suggest that you either make a token offer of £10 , then fight the case in the usual manner hoping for a discontinuation later on

And certainly do NOT say the above to the Mediator. If I were you I'd just say 'no offer' and that you'll see them in court. If the Mediator presses you about your defence or to make an offer, put the phone down.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
