Amazon took package away requiring OTP but I was in

I ordered a few items on Amazon and one of the items required an OTP as a high value item.
I have the OTP. I am in the house and it's a very small house, and the driver would have had to walk (tip toe!) past the window and would have seen me at the window working.
He left the package that didn't required an OTP at the back door but the other one is missing and says "delivery attempted 1.35pm there has been an issue we will try again". However why didn't the driver knock on the door or window - I was in the house and it would have been pretty hard for them to not see me sitting there. I'm actually surprised he managed to leave the other one there without me noticing as it was not there a few minutes earlier?
I am going to be going away for a couple of days tomorrow and now I'm not sure how I will get this package as I am moving to another address at the end of the weekend.
Only thing that crossed my mind is - the house I am staying in at the moment is in a mobile black spot with no signal on any network - does this mean the driver can't deliver it due to being unable to validate the code? If so, how can I get it diverted or solve the issue? I can't see any way to try to divert or hold the parcel - there is only the option to leave delivery text instructions and non relevant instructions like "leave in porch" which won't work if an OTP is needed.

but you didn’t see him pass the window to deliver and then go away again.3 -

What's really annoying is that I got a good deal on the Prime day deals, so if it ends up not delivered and I have to order it again, yes I'll get a refund but I might have to significantly more next time.
Do you know if there is any way to ask Amazon to divert the delivery to a different address?0 -

Can only suggest you get onto Amazon if you will no longer be able to receive it at that address.0 -

Also this still doesn't explain why the driver would not knock at the door as they literally had to walk up to the door to put the other 2 boxes there.
As said above, I'm wondering if this is somehow linked to the fact that I am in a mobile blackspot so telemetry (and possibly OTC codes) doesn't work unless you have wifi? I am actually wondering if the driver knows that and so logs the items as delivered about a mile away, and then comes and drops them off. But this cannot work with OTP as they need the code from me to mark it delivered.
Tomorrow I will leave the OTC with the neighbor before I go away and update the delivery instructions.
From what I can tell researching on the Amazon web site, if multiple delivery attempts are failed, they will automatically refund the item?0 -

The house I am staying in belongs to a friend so it's not the biggest deal ever - my bigger concern is not being able to get the items one way or another by early next week.
Even worse, I now realized that I cannot order another pack of them to the new house and then return the other ones if they ever show up, because apparently each customer is only allowed to order 5 of these items (huh?), so if I tried to put another 3 in my basket Amazon throws an error. I guess if it comes to it I'll get the OH to order them!0 -
