Copilot Recall is spooky. Snapping screenshots regularly. And of course the processor chips that mean you simply cannot flash a different operating system on these PCs. Microhard creating a new monopoly.
Alternatively, you can just decide not to opt in to Recall.

It is opted in by default. I doubt it will actually be off in reality, even if you opt out, a bit like location on a smart phone, it's never trully off.

Cannot install a different OS on what processors?

I uninstalled all the bloatware on Windows 10 using the command line and disabled the update function so it will only update when I want it to
not when I am in the middle of something and where it decides it's going to do a long slow update right when I need to use the system quickly.

Options of shutdown without the update forces the update anyway so whats the point of offering install and shutdown or just shutdown when
they both install the update anyway?

Windows 11  will be stripped before I install that also. Been tinkering in VM's for a while to see what I can and cannot strip out.
