I find that the best way to learn something is to think of something I want to do, then figure out how to do it. Course exercises can be useful, but I find I learn more if I end up with some useful code.

This might be a controversial idea ...
    Buy a book. Read it.
    Something like this:
But, I said I wanted to learn it on my phone or a tablet.  I don't want to read a book.  I don't like reading books.  I can't concentrate reading a book.  I need to have the light on at night (whilst my partner is sleeping next to me) to read a book.  I don't want to read a book.  Thanks.

You can get the Kindle edition, which is cheaper anyway (you don't need a Kindle device, you can download the Kindle app from your regular app store for free).

I also suggest you look at Google colab so you can write your python code from your phone or tablet.
  • There are lots of fascinating projects using the humble Raspberry Pi. Many of these use Python code.
You don’t need a monitor and keyboard, you can SSH to a Pi with command line commands from a Windows PC on the same network.

  • Some really helpful comments guys.  Much appreciated.
  • Claude AI writes Python code that works on a Raspberry Pi, half a dozen lines of plain language, including web enabled, and voila, you have a working application.
While you won't learn as much using an AI assistant as writing code yourself, however it really is easy, quick and works.
