I have a fttc connection with Plusnet
Sorry, correction. I used to have a connection until they cut me off. The bill is paid on time and in full.
Plusnet have disconnected my line without warning and are now unable to get it re-connected. 15 days now without internet. I work from home, at least I used too!
Plusnet are blaming Openreach. Openreach are blaming plusnet.
Nobody is able to reconnect me.
Any advice, I'm pulling my hair out trying to get reconnect but getting no where.

Update.
Just spoken to a manager at plusnet who told me to go to another company like Virgin etc as they are unable to sort the issue!0 -
Get a 4G or 5G dongle or use your phones data connection while its sorted.
If you are out of contract with plusnet, and have virgin, get that.0 -
That's the problem, we don't have Virgin in this area. I don't have enough mobile data to use 5g (VPN with ms teams usage alot)0

Do you have OR FTTP available?0
-
That's what caused all of this, we tried to go to FTTP, Which is when they cut it off without warning and unable to connect full fibre.0

are you on a fibre priority exchange?

Probably have been better to explain this FTTP order from the start
The problem is presumably is you were to be upgraded to FTTP with Plusnet , either you agreed to upgrade at their suggestion or it was your idea to upgrade to FTTP , and unfortunately something went wrong with the installation , the FTTP couldn’t be installed but the FTTC was inadvertently ceased …and because it was ceased , it can’t be reordered as FTTC isn’t available to new customers in FTTP areas , even though FTTP is proving to be impossible to provide quickly
Virgin if available, is a decent idea as far as getting connected quickly (or use 4/5G) but the issue will be Openreach are delayed in fitting the FTTP , they are going to fit FTTP eventually (provided you haven’t cancelled the FTTP order ) just it may take a while and that may be longer than you are prepared to wait0 -
Thank you everyone for the replies.
We originally placed an order the plusnet to upgrade our FTTC connection to FTTP. Suddenly our line was disconnect and we had not yet had an activation date for FTTP.
After many calls to plusnet they advised they could not reinstate us, they blamed Openreach for cutting it off. The only option was to cancel the FTTP order as was an Openreach fault. They would then be able to reinstate the FTTC. This also appears to be false as they are unable to do that either.
I'm not sure who caused the issue. Openreach blame plusnet and vice versa
2 weeks on and still no internet, argh0 -
We are not a fibre priority exchange0
