    I’m in the same boat as you. I was paying £25, my contract ends in 2 weeks. I’ve accepted the £27 12 month contract. 
    Many thanks - I thought the advisor was unusually straight to the point, with no room for negotiating (unlike the previous advisor in May when I renewed at £24) 

    - but from what you've said it seems that £27 is their lowest ceiling at the moment - and I assume they've been getting non-stop calls about the £3 increase, so are giving blanket responses of "You can leave without penalty"
