Many thanks - I thought the advisor was unusually straight to the point, with no room for negotiating (unlike the previous advisor in May when I renewed at £24) 

- but from what you've said it seems that £27 is their lowest ceiling at the moment - and I assume they've been getting non-stop calls about the £3 increase, so are giving blanket responses of "You can leave without penalty"

Can I ask how much you're paying per month (total) / if you're using your own router or theirs / and whether you are paying for landline use (not a calls package - just the ability to use it)
