What happened to the 'preview' option when posting? This is a valuable option to ensure that all links work before making the post live; removing it is a mistake.

There is a list of the sites on here, if someone is entering the comps daily or, like me, dipping in two or three times a week, they will see any new comps that are posted so I fail to see why anyone would actually miss any new comps unless they only ever enter them once at the time they are posted on here.

    2025 Comps 12362: wins 10: value £1862
    2024 Comps 13526: wins 13: value £1475

I found clicking the wheel on my mouse opens it in a new tab. Or you could right-click and open in new tab. But I miss this one too.

I don't like the way the links come up when you create a post in Comps.

Why did everything have to change? Nothing wrong with the way we were doing it before.

I agree with you and especially when you add more than one link it looks horrible. Plus no way to preview is a nightmare as it was always good to check in case of mistakes.

My biggest bugbear is the amount of Gleam competition being posted that are not UK based, but open worldwide. Usually this means super high entry & costs to receive the prize.
I would love it if these competitions were marked as Worldwide on the title to save me clicking on them.

2nd bugbear are instagram links that don't take you to the relevant post, but just to the page running the comp, it is sometimes hard to find the competition.

I very rarely post Instagram comps, but when I do try to find the relevant post. Unfortunately, it' can be incredibly time consuming to do so and I will occasionally omit the direct link.

EDIT: I have to admit I don't find the new editor as annoying as I initially did. There are still one or two niggles, but it tends to do what I want and is better than the old system in many ways.

I hate clicking on a comp only to find out it's a Facebook/Instagram etc comp, I don't do social media and at 70 have no intention of it.

The comp-liment button used to turn green when used, but now I can't discern the difference, it was useful for placeholding!

Some sites have the option for you to tick which comps you are interested in, for example I don't tick the F/B, TikTok or Raffle sites as I don't want to enter those, so you are just left with the list of sites/comps you want to enter.

Also the compliment button, you can't glance at it and know you have pressed it, is there a way for it to change colour so you know if you have pressed button already. At the moment you have to press it and if number goes down you know you have already pressed it.

Thanks to all those that post.
