I just got another letter in a big red envelope.
Yes, this month's letter has a red envelope.

    Scary.
Methinks the BBC are running scared after the figures of householder "evasions" published recently  :D

Apparently, the BBC are talking about a "loss" of c. £1.1bn in terms of evasion and legitimate cancellations.

Whist there are some issues with their maths, that equates to 6.3  million Licences at today's rate.   That must be a very scary number for them.

I love how they class people that do not watch live TV and have cancelled their licence as evading it.

How dare we evade the licence fee just because we legally do not require one.

Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...

  •  I wrote back to TV Licensing saying that I didn’t need a licence. The letters I received were addressed to “The Occupier,” and I didn’t want to give them my personal details by filling in the online form. I sent the letters back by second-class post and, after two weeks, received a letter saying that my address was now registered as not needing a licence. Do this if you don’t want to share your personal details with them.
  • They've got to raise the cash for their coming payment to Trump !

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

I prefer getting the letters. They amuse me and cost them money. After five years at this new address and despite being in the final stages of their investigation for the past 4 years - they still address the letter to the legal occupier!
