Parking Eye failed to pay Hearing fees

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone else got to the stage of just before the hearing but Parking Eye failed to pay the hearing fees and what happened next? My hearing was due to take place Monday 07/07/25 but I’ve had confirmation by email from the court that PE that the hearing is vacated due to no payment. I’ve now asked for confirmation that the case will be struck out. I hadn’t sent my witness statement yet as I was leaving it to see if they did pay as the hearing date was sent very quick (21days notice) and it said they hadn’t paid on that communication.

Any information greatly received thankyou.

Did the court order say that the claim would be struck out if the hearing fee wasn't paid?2

There have been several discontinuations this week alone, hundreds over the last few years
I think one was discontinued yesterday with a hearing tomorrow or next week
Coupon-mad suggested that they should sign up to courtserve for free and check the day before

Are DCB Legal involved at all? They sometimes represent PE, and frequently fail to pay the court fee. PE, when running their own case are not noted for failing to pay the fee. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

A witness statement deadline is typically 2 to 4 weeks before the hearing date, so both are late, yours isn't even in !1
