What's the budget? What kind of cameras do you have? How many cameras will there be? Do you want subscription costs? You might need to give a bit more info to get the best recommendations :)
Hi, I have 2 x ptz and 1 ANPR, all wired PoE. The budget is £200-£300 (or less) abd happy for a subscription. The key is remote access and a recorder that moniters any motion.
    thanks

If you have an existing camera setup based on POE, then a decent NVR is all you need - what brand are the existing cameras, or do you know what protocol they operate on?

Hikvision and their budget counterpart Hilook will have options in your price range which has a stable, reliable app that's free. Just want to find out more about your cameras to ensure they are compatible to give best performance around some of the 'event options' like setting up an area intrusion alert.

    Hi all,
I’m looking for a way to record activity on cctv, record onto a hard drive and have the ability to access this remotely as the area I’m trying to monitor is 30 miles away. Could anyone recommend a system. I have access to wifi at the premises where the cctv will be installed...
    thank you!
Record when motion is detected or record 24/7? If it's the former, I have Blink cameras and they do the trick but you need to make sure that your wifi and broadband speeds are good (ours is around 67mb with 2mb upload which works but not always).

If I was starting out today, I would look at Eufy cameras as they seem to offer more things for free out-of-box while Blink are starting to make it more difficult like the latest cameras come with Sync Module Core (which doesn't have usb port meaning you cannot plug in a flash drive for offline storage).
