Recommend cctv system that records and is accessible and remotely

Options
Hi all,
I’m looking for a way to record activity on cctv, record onto a hard drive and have the ability to access this remotely as the area I’m trying to monitor is 30 miles away. Could anyone recommend a system. I have access to wifi at the premises where the cctv will be installed...
thank you!

What's the budget? What kind of cameras do you have? How many cameras will there be? Do you want subscription costs? You might need to give a bit more info to get the best recommendations :)

Hi, I have 2 x ptz and 1 ANPR, all wired PoE. The budget is £200-£300 (or less) abd happy for a subscription. The key is remote access and a recorder that moniters any motion.
    thanks

Have a look at blink cameras. I have several wired and wireless ones and they are great for the price. I also have a sync module which you can attach USB storage to for recording which removes the need for a subscription.

You get motion detection, scheduled arming etc all included for free.

I have a SWANN system.  It cost a bit more than the OP's budget but seems to do all that the OP is seeking with an easy-to-use APP on the phone for remote access.
There may be cheaper similar systems.

Eufy cameras are on offer at the moment on Amazon (leading up to prime day).  I don't have experience of them, but they're always well regarded - and are subscription free.  You buy a homebase as part of the system, and it records everything locally - then makes it available online.  The system still provides alerts and notifications like other subscription systems.

Personally I use Google Nest cameras - however they're expensive, require a subscription, and Google don't seem to be expanding on their features (for example no schedule options).  I'm happy with them, they have good quality images.

I have an Eufy doorbell and 2 CCTV cameras. No subscription just records via your WiFi and can be viewed from your phone app from 30 miles away or 3000 miles away.

I've also run the WiFi from a mobile phone set to hot-spot.  An ID mobile sim card is £5pm so if you have electric and a safe place to leave the mobile phone you don't have to have broadband.

    The images are excellent.
The cameras hold their charge for ages if not going off all the time.
They can be set to human only or all movement. This can also be changed via the app so you don't need to be near the cameras

Have 4 wired cameras that run off power over Ethernet cables. Connected to hard drive and monitor, using DMSS software for streaming. Also have Eufy wired door bell over WiFi. The wired cameras are much more reliable and consistently easier to access over streaming when away from home.

Do you want to be able to control the PTZ remotely?
Do you want the recorder with the cameras or at your remote location?
What video quality do you want  - full quality with remote viewing or just "good enough" that you know its worth looking at full quality recordings?

I have a solar powered eufy camera which does exactly the same thing, no wires needed
