Letter before claim arrived. Doesn't state a location on 7th Feb '23. I have no recollection and no longer own the car.

Best action? (Image removed by Forum Team)

Best action is to study the second post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad

Then email the LoC response template to B W Legal,  same as everyone else

Then start preparing for the inevitable N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL to arrive in the post

Should I respond at all? Given this is a vehicle I no longer own, I've no idea how they got my address.

Should I request info from DVLA on what organisations have traced my address from an old vehicle reg?

Ive never seen any pcn or evidence, or previous letters. Should I SAR?

    No.

This stage is standard and it's already covered in the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread.

Please don't copy & paste the LBC reply here. Nor the solicitors' response to it (no thanks!).

We don't need to discuss pre-action stage and you don't need anything more than is already in the LBC section of the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread.

We do tend to save our time for if a claim arrives which needs bespoke advice. Sometimes with BW Legal it never comes because they are only acting as debt collectors. Not necessarily litigation.

No way of knowing and nothing you do or say will change it unless you can get the landowner to step in and cancel the PCN. Just open all letters promptly - and no moving house without telling them. That's all!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
