That defence,  if it is a defence,  is not the standard defence template posted by coupon mad 3 weeks ago near the top of the forum,  I told you to adapt the new template defence last week

I definitely sont comment on any defence that doesn't follow the template, so didn't and won't be reading it,  plus it wont fit in the MCOL defence box IMHO either

Defences are short and concise,  submitted on MCOL now, not by email

No offence intended,  just being up front about it, we are volunteers,  not a legal service,  sorry
Sorry. I understand. I somehow overlooked. I will prepare and resubmit as suggested. Thank you for your advise.

    Yes, use the template defence.

I'm glad you did the Public Consultation. All responses really matter right now.

Thanks all. I have updated the defence and I have put the following for point 3.

    3. The Defendant recalls stopping at the site for no more than 14 minutes. Signage at the location stated that 30 minutes free parking was available when using one of the stores, but all stores were closed at the time of the visit, making it impossible to comply with this condition. The car park was not busy at the time and had many empty spaces. The Defendant did not see any signage indicating a charge applied outside of store hours, nor was there any alternative offer clearly displayed. No contract was formed.

I'd change 'for no more than 14 minutes' to:

    'for mere minutes'

...because I doubt there is evidence that you actually stopped for 14. More likely you stopped for under ten because the photos will be of arrival and leaving in moving traffic.

Total stay of 14 mins isn't 'stopped for 14 mins'.

On 29th August, I received an email from DCB Legal with an attached N180 Directions Questionnaire completed by them. However, when I logged into MCOL, I couldn’t see any update on my case file. Should I wait for the update to appear, or can I download the N180 form myself and send it in?

How would I know which court I should email it to? DCB Legal's N180 states the court name as 'Civil National Business Centre'.

    Thanks.

The latter,  at the correct time,  not yet

Follow the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements

Yes, download the N180 pdf and fill it in

Wait for the CNBC to post a paper N180 DQ document to you, then email your pdf to them

All explained in those 8 steps
