Hello from Mehefinland

Don't know where the sun has gone - a fleeting glimpse and that was it.very humid and sticky though so I expect the flies will be bad again today.

@Coxy11 don't apologise for me - it's a fact of life.
@Taff Gosh -Ogmore!! assuming you mean the educational camp on top of the hill. All gone now and turned into a very expensive housing estate. But then if you can afford to live in Ogmore by sea..... nuff said. Nice views, but you can't eat them as my dear Mum used to say.
Just popped into my nearest town to my building society.There are no banks there or in our nearest market town any more! The BS is doing a roaring trade so it just shows that there is a need. It's a similar thing with these self service tills in s/marts. I refuse to use them - keep somebody in a job.

Recycling has just gone past so I had better go and rescue all the bags etc.

Ogmore is great, isn’t it? I haven’t been that way in years now
The stepping stones to go across the water is one of my favourite childhood memories.
Getting attacked by sheep trying to steal my Jaffa cakes from the family picnic is NOT one of my favourites 😂
Still traumatised 30 years on

Good afternoon

Nipping in as real life getting in the way again as back at work. Was up in Lancashire for a few days visiting family. Was quite nice as a few degrees lower in temperature. Back in Essex and it’s now 34 degrees. My washing should dry quickly.

Was going to make spag Bol tonight so may still make it and freeze it as some mushrooms need using. Then do a picky tea as not that hungry. Will make lunch for tomorrow as well.

little dog is too hot today, she’s drinking but still too hot for her.

Happy birthday to Yorks Lass & belated wishes to Mehfin.

Got very nostalgic the other day when someone was talking about Brimham Rocks and bilberry picking. Childhood holidays spent in North Yorkshire.

Yes, that Ogmore, at the top of the hill by the sea. We went a couple of times with the orchestra, it was nice to see a different place, I liked travelling and enjoyed being in different places. Not so enjoyable was having to play the violin which I was terrible at. .I did enjoy making sandcastles as well.
