Yes they do this now but you can't turn the option off. I have quite a pile of unused labels as I don't expect the postie to wait while I stick on a load of labels.

Not quite the same issue, but label-related. I recently sent an item from a parcel locker, and the flow was very confusingly designed. I had to go past the screen confirming I had already attached the label before the label would actually be printed. Spent ages going backwards and forwards through the options to see if I had missed something.

New – Book courier collection for free, no printer required.

The courier will bring the label to you when they collect your item.

So it looks like they do now bring a label if you choose.

It also seems if you download the label first you can't go back and book a collection but if you book a collection first you can then open and print the label. (Looking at the label and the collection booking email the tracking numbers are the same).

I don't trust the right label to go on the parcel, especially if leaving more than one parcel out so would prefer to print a label myself.

I print all my labels regardless of what site I'm on or what courier it is- far less room for issues further down the line.

Understandable.  I have had success with taping the name and postcode to each parcel, but I wouldn't want to burden the postie with more than 3 at an absolute maximum, and I wouldn't want to do that very often either.
